Structure of rotary tiller gear box
The rotary tiller gear box usually consists of a box and a number of gears. The box is the shell of the whole gear box, which is usually made of cast steel or aluminum alloy. The gears are responsible for power transmission and speed change.

Gear material and strength
Rotary plow gears are subjected to large torque loads, so the material and strength requirements are high. Commonly used gear materials are
1. Alloy steel: with high hardness and tensile strength, usually need to be quenched
2. cast iron: simple production process, but lower strength
3. Fiber-reinforced nylon: good self-lubricating properties, but limited load-bearing capacity.
In order to improve reliability, some rotary tillers use larger module gears, wider tooth widths, thicker bearings and shafts, and other measures. In addition to the gear itself, the rotary tiller gear box also needs to work well with the cutter shaft, clutch and other components to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the system.
